Passengers

Pilot here. Recently Lord Thorson started to bring up people from the planets instead of cargo. Argos wonders if this has something to do with the fact the cargo holds are nearly full. He may be correct.

First he brought up Lord Arilon with him, apparently hiring him as a swordsman to assist us. I remember the Captain was very cross with Lord Thorson about that. But he has since assisted us with both cargo retrieval and with the Changelings, the abyssal creatures that invaded our ship and tried to hurt Argos and destroy the cargo.

Then almost immediately after Lord Arilon came on board, Lord Thorson hired the Bard Mirahne. She also helped in retrieving a piece of cargo. I have not determined what else she is good for yet, though. She did not even recognize a star phoenix, suggesting she perch on Argos like a parrot instead of being given its proper respect.

When the last cargo was brought up, they also brought up Aaron, a local lord from the cargo's world. Apparent he was the protector of the cargo, named Shasta. It was a close thing. The cargo was in a coma when they brought her aboard, and soon after their planet disintigrated. I overheard Aaron blaming the priests of his world for its destruction. What is odd to me is that Lord Thorson seems protective of Aaron, as if he feels responsible for the young man somehow.

Soon after that we encountered a star phoenix named Phoerith in between. She was following our song trail from the collaped world. She was giving passage to a very tall man named Persamus. I don't know much about him, but he does treat both Phoerith, Argos and myself with some respect and politeness, for which I am thankfull. Argos allowed Phoerith to board, then the captain greeted him briefly. That was right before we hit the spacial collapse.

When we were escaping the destruction of Aaron's world, our ship was boarded by some Changelings. They seemed intent on attacking Argos' systems and the cargo containers. From one damaged container Tia had to be pulled. I do not have a file on the woman, and I have not spoken with her yet so I know little about her.
