A page of fencing terms.  Great for describing combats.

Costumes.  (I mean, what's an Amberite without a wardrobe?)

The Costume Page.  An excellent site for historical costume information.  Especially good is 'The Study of Costume - Costume History' section.

The Regency Fashion Page.  A very complete site detailing all manner of dress in the Regency Period (1790-1829).

History & Culture

Atomic Magazine.  A great source for 1940's & 1950's culture and counter culture.

The Society for Creative Anachronism.  Otherwise known as the SCA.  A non-profit organization that preserves, researches, and recreates the historical period between 1066, the Norman Conquest of England) and 1603, the year Queen Elizabeth the First of England died.  I used to be a part of them back when I was in college, a wonderful experience.  Their home site is both a good research jumping off point for the period and an excellent way to find out about them.

Century Home.  A somewhat flashy history site for the 20th century.  It does have some nice pieces on events, fashion and technology for the various decades.
